Before purchasing an item from a new seller, here are some things to consider to remain safe from fraud:
** How long has the seller been on the site? Longer is better.
** Is their feedback on their profile? Find out if there is and act accordingly.
** What payment method do they require? It is better to use a payment method that you can dispute, such as: Paypal or a credit/debit card (depending on your location).
Also, we do no recommend paying by Gift Cards or wiring money to sellers. Scams involving paying the seller by Amazon Gift Cards are well known.
